At Wooden Robot, we strive to build community by sharing our passion for thoughtfully crafted beer, food, and other beverages. We are looking for a lead line cook to help us continue our mission to craft high-quality, locally sourced dishes.
Our ideal candidate is a highly-motivated, adaptable team player with initiative, great communication skills, a drive to learn, and a positive attitude. As a lead line cook, you must be comfortable with providing ‘in the moment’ feedback and motivating team members. Leadership experience in a kitchen environment is required.
Primary responsibilities will include leading team members through the duration of service, executing recipes to company standards, portion control, food safety, and problem solving. You will have the opportunity to work directly with the executive chef to test recipes and create new menu items. Food manager certification is not required for hire, but must be completed by the end of the 90-day probationary period (with employer reimbursement after completion).

Part-Time Barista / Beertender
At Wooden Robot Brewery we have an uncompromising stance on quality and expect the same from our team.
Under the direction of the Coffee Bar Manager, this position is responsible for: tapping beers, explaining draft offerings to customers, creating exceptional craft coffee beverages by hand, and fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment in the Coffee Bar. Additional responsibilities include stocking merchandise, preparing the taproom for opening, cleaning, and other miscellaneous closing procedures after the shift ends.
We are seeking a highly motivated team player who is positive, reliable, and willing to work long hours when needed.
This is an hourly position plus tips.
Requirements:
- Previous high-volume service industry experience
- Willingness to learn how to use an espresso machine and other coffee equipment to create handcrafted coffee
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
- Maintain positive and polite demeanor in daily customer interactions
- Performing tasks such as cleaning taproom
- Working long hours with intense physical labor
- Being punctual, having a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
Relevant Skills/Qualifications Desired:
- Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment and have excellent communication/interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work at a fast pace, yet be precise in your daily tasks
- Desire to learn
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for extended periods of time
- Must be willing to work in noisy, wet and/or cold conditions
- Must be dependable and have reliable transportation
- Must have an appreciation for and knowledge of craft beer as well as craft coffee

Part-Time and Full-Time Barback / Food Runner with High-Volume Experience
At Wooden Robot Brewery we have an uncompromising stance on quality and expect the same from our team.
Under the direction of the Taproom Manager, this position is responsible for: fostering a welcoming but secure environment in all our tap rooms. Individuals will be responsible for monitoring customer interactions, cleaning & maintaining tables (ie: removing plates/glassware) and assisting with keg changes.
We are seeking a highly motivated team player who is positive, reliable, and willing to work long hours when needed.
This is an hourly position plus tips.
