Jamil Dyair Steele is a visual artist based in Charlotte. He is a proud West Charlotte Senior High School graduate who studied fine arts at the University of NC at Charlotte and completed his Master of Art Education at Winthrop University.

His work is deeply rooted in the human experience of minorities, marginalized communities, and youth. Using painting as his primary expression, Dyair specializes in unique portraiture, murals, and illustrations. Check him out: @dyairart

You'll be able to see his art along with other LGBTQ+ community members leading up to Charlotte Pride @cltpride in August. 🏳️‍🌈
